Watch 5th online show

Thank you to everyone that tuned in to my live online show yesterday, here’s the full recording for anyone who missed it.

This latest episode kicked off with a live version of my new single ‘Pale Jacket’ with violin accompaniment from Sue Aston. The show also included performances of two new songs, ‘The Artist’ and ‘Alone at the Pac-Man Machine’. I finished the set off with ‘Still Life’ and ‘Way Home’.

Notes from Looe Music Festival 2014

I had a great time performing at Looe Music Festival yesterday! The town was packed, the atmosphere was electric and thankfully the weather was scorching.

I mixed the set up a bit, which as always was heavily devoted to my original songs. I debuted a brand new song, ‘The Artist’, along with a new cover, ‘If I Am A Stranger’ by Ryan Adams. Some of my old songs made it back into the set too with ‘See You Again’ and ‘Still Life’, both from The Way Home EP, going down well.

The full set is detailed below. Some of my songs were videoed and I also recorded the audio of the entire 45min show so I’ll release some of that material soon.

Set:

1. Way Home
2. Pale Jacket
3. For You My Friend
4. If I Am A Stranger (Ryan Adams)
5. One More Chance
6. Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High? (Arctic Monkeys)
7. Lemonade Sea
8. See You Again
9. The Other Side
10. Flight
11. Soldier Of Fortune (Deep Purple)
12. The Artist
13. Still Life

Watch guest appearance on US online show

If you missed the live Good Day Google+ show just now, you can watch the recording here. I played three songs live: ‘Lemonade Sea’, ‘For You My Friend’ and ‘Way Home’ with Sue Aston providing violin accompaniment throughout.

It was my first time being on the panel and performing on a US Google+ show and I really enjoyed it! There was some chat about spicy wine and alligator nuggets, does anyone know where I could get some of that?

4. Ol 55 (Tom Waits)
