NEW MATERIAL!! Here’s a clip from a new song that I have written, ‘Lay Down The Law’. It’s not completely finished, but it’s notable for featuring some Judas Priest-inspired metal screaming. After singing along to a lot of Priest and Glenn Hughes in my car, I decided to have a go at some high octane notes myself! This is the result. Crank it up for the full metal meltdown effect.
The recording process of my first full-length solo album is AT LAST nearly complete. There are 12 songs and they’re all pretty varied musically. I’ve found it really hard to decide between continuing down the Waiting For The Call rock path (as I have with this song here) and sticking with the Way Home/Lemonade Sea acoustic style. Ultimately, I’ve elected to embrace both sides!
